Nice one. Please let us know how it shaves, and where you purchased from....I'm down to my last tube of UK Ingram, only 2-3 shaves left.....
Jason.
The Egyptian Ingram seem to be a different one to the UK made one, a much shorter list of ingredients
I think they are a lot more concentrated than the UK ones as well. I'd be intrigued to find out how it shaves.
Thanks for info / link....all looks / sounds good. I await your review with interest, as will many here, I'm sure.I bought this on eBay from a seller called Treasure of Egypt. You can find him on www.ebay.com/str/treasureofegypyt. Delivery was by DHL. I ordered it 14th August and received it 19th August. Seems to be a very reliable and well-organised seller.
Thanks for the pics and review....I will be ordering, for sure. Old Spice to finish? Can't go wrong!First shave using Egyptian Ingram shaving cream! The cream comes in a 60ml all-plastic tube. There's no doubt that this is Ingram- the old-school, very British scent of brilliantine is considerably stronger than in the UK original. I love it.

The cream is runnier than most other shaving creams, and has a very pale, pearly appearance. The photo gives a good idea of this and shows the amount I used. A very small squeeze!

I lathered using a Yaqi synthetic brush. The amount of snowy white lather produced from such a small amount of cream was astonishing – I did three passes, and there was still enough on my brush for two more. The photo shows the brush after the third pass. I'm aware that commentators have often remarked that the British Ingram was difficult to lather, but there were no such problems today.

Menthol is not listed in the ingredients, but it's certainly present. My skin felt braced and toned.
Slickness is impressive. I deliberately didn't use any pre-shave products as I wanted to see how this Ingram performed on its own. No nicks, no irritation. There was a pleasant, slightly powdery feel on my skin after rinsing.
I have to say that anyone who has been using the UK Ingram will be more than pleased if they decide to move to the Egyptian version. It's a very impressive cream, incorporating all we love about the original, but with big improvements in lathering and slickness. I recommend it highly.
I used a German Wilkinson Sword blade in a 1963 Gillette Super Speed Flair Tip and finished with a good splash of Indian-manufactured Old Spice Original.
Thanks for the pics and review....I will be ordering, for sure. Old Spice to finish? Can't go wrong!
