Eau de Cologne

This evening should be Cologne Cédrat by Nicolaï Parfumeur from 2006. However, I had a disaster using the splash bottle last time. I have ordered another vaporiser bottle, and will pipette the splash bottle into another bottle.

So this evening it is Eau de Cologne by Chanel from 2007.

This is subtle and sophisticated with notes of Mandarin, Bergamot, and Neroli...

This evening it will be Eau de Cologne from Penhaligon's. A limited edition from the Anthology collection released in 2010 allegedly recreating the 1927 formulation. Now unobtainium, this is elegant and sophisticated...

Top Notes: Orange, Lemon, Bergamot, Rosemary
Heart Notes: Neroli

This evening it is Cologne du Parfumeur by Guerlain from 2010.

This is a subtle modern Eau de Cologne with notes of Orange Blossom, Bergamot, Neroli and White Musk.

Tonight it is Askett Essential Eau de Cologne by
Askett & English from 2011.

This is a bright Citrus scent, that almost fails as a classic Eau de Cologne. This however would be a lovely daytime Citrus fragrance...

Top Notes: Lemon, Bergamot
Heart Notes: Lavander, Jasmine
Base Notes: Tonka, Cedar, Vetiver

Tonight it is Eau Universelle by L'Occitane en Provence from 2012.

A limited edition. This is a very bright Citrus Eau de Cologne. The first Cologne on the list to include Grapefruit...

Top Notes: Bergamot, Grapefruit
Heart Notes: Geranium

Tonight it is Przemysławka Eau de Cologne. Released in 2000 whilst claiming authenticity from 1919. A 1930's launch date has also been mentioned.

This is an inexpensive Herbal Eau de Cologne.
The splash bottle is great too...

Top Notes: Citrus Notes
Heart Notes: Herbal Notes including Lavender
Base Notes: Balsamic Notes

Tonight it is Eau de Cologne no. 444 Extra Vieille by Berdoues.

I do not get any Citrus top Notes, the dry down is reminiscent of Roger & Gallet JMF Extra Vieille. Sadly a failure.

Others have noticed a similarity to Crown's Crown Imperial. Which I do not get, just stained clothing...

Tonight it is English Fine Cologne by Yardley from 1984.

Now discontinued, this is a pleasant Cologne with notes of Lemon, Bergamot, Bitter Orange, Lavender, Rosemary, and Thyme.

This evening it is Cologne Cédrat by Nicolaï Parfumeur Créateur from 2006.

Both Eau de Cologne's from Nicolaï Parfumeur Créateur are wonderful. They are both divine...

Top Notes: Citron, Lemon, Orange, Bergamot
Heart Notes: Ylang, Chamomile, Black Pepper
Base Notes: Patchouli, Musk
