I just put the whole thing under my special razor self sharpening pyramid which is re aligned every 28 days . Isn't that what everyone else does ? No ?

I open my TTO's, wipe the gunk of the blade (going outwards, as not to blunt the blade), give it a rince, maybe a toothbrush if there's gunk. wipe on a micro fibre cloth, put the blade back in, leave on its side, slightly open. Boil them in a water/vinegar solution between blade changes. (+rinse afterwards)
Rince in hot water, shake and leave to dry next to the open window.
When I change the blade I clean it with a damp flannel to get the soap marks off, job done.
