Drip feed Lavazza

The top with the couple of pip's is sat on the mug and I add Lavazza to just cover them, the disk with the cut out is inserted and turned around (bayonet) fitting compressing the coffee I then add just a splash of boiled (tablespoon at most) water and wait 30 seconds, this has the effect of the coffee swelling, then fill the top with, just off the boil, water, place the lid on with a handy spoon hook, the water slowly drips through over the next 3 or 4 minutes giving a great brew on a par with an espresso and with the drinking mug being double walled it's not gone cold.

The lid upturned acts as a drip catcher, note coffee still steaming

If you do not wait the 30 seconds and just pour the water in it pours straight through and gives a poor brew !
just thought I'd share cheers all Danny
