Do all aftershave lotions contain alcohol?

I've only used a few aftershaves all alcohol based and they suit me well but looking around websites they rarely say whether different brands contain alcohol but some brands say containing witch hazel but rarely does it say alcohol.

Can I assume that all aftershave lotion is alcohol based unless specifically sated otherwise?

Hi Jeltz, far as I know (I'm happy to be corrected here) after shaves almost invariably have an alcohol content. You have to move onto aftershave balms to lose the alcohol. I've had skin probs over the years, so tend to avoid alcohol or drying agents on shaven areas. :?

Well, the label at least should explicitly disclose any alcohol in the ingredients. Not that that helps much when just perusing the internet - not every internet source lists ingredients, although ingredients lists (posted by sellers) can often be found for a lot of cosmetics.
