So this is a real thing I guess. Turns out there's lots of videos on the subject and I gotta say there were plenty of moments when watching some that made me laugh or cringe or swear involuntarily. It's a world famous (in Norway) sport.
There's also another diving related competition which also has some stuff from a very tall height.
