How do you chaps manage when travelling with hand luggage only?
If going to New York (for example) for a couple of days, you can't take blades with you as they are specifically banned from hand luggage. Blades can't be found easily in pharmacies at your destination.
I have a Gillette Guard (P&G's attempt to wean the Indian market off DE) for my "away days"... totally beige/inoffensive/unmemorable shave but single blade and doesn't clog at all.
A Mach3 and a cartridge per week. It won't kill you. Cartridge blades are still kosha, as far as I'm aware. Not had an issue so far but, if I did, there can't be many places in the world that haven't been saturated by Gillette enough to easily find replacements.
I just use a Gillette disposable when travelling with hand luggage. It is rare that I fly for short trips though so usually end up with luggage in the hold.
