I am probably just showing how uninformed I am, but I am having some trouble identifying a Gillette with a ball end handle. The comb section of the head has the code 'k678043' punched into it, and the handle has what appears to be 'PAT.NOV.15:04' stamped just above the ball. Any guesses or pointers are much appreciated,
Alex
It's an "Old Type" and they made them up to the late 1920's although I suspect yours may have been made earlier. Not sure exactly, someone might be able to tell you more.
Thanks, I did read somewhere that K types were sold to the public during WWI, but wasn't sure if the letter in the serial code was related to this. This particular Razor came as part of a set with a blade holder, together in a brass case, lined with purple velvet.
