I friend of mine picked up this shaving soap in a Morrocan shop in Manchester somewhere although when I looked at the label it said made in Denmark. I've used it a couple of times and I find it a superb soap, easy to lather, mild inoffensive scent, slick and fantastic post shave, I'm impressed. It comes in what looks to be an aluminium tin which is a bit larger than the soap which only weighs in at 70g. Not much info on the internet unfortunately. I'm not really very well educated on what ingredients are considered good in a soap so have included the front and back of the tin, comments regarding the ingredient list would be welcome. Anyone else tried this soap?

Likewise noted it to be quite expensive but curiosity does ask how much did you pay in the shop in Manchester as I do visit the city occasionally.
Does look interesting though
Amazon sells it. I'm tempted.I will have to look out for it. Sounds interesting

Is it similar to any other soap you've tried?I'm always a bit reluctant to recommend anything as lots of these things are subjective especially as it's quite pricey for a small puck. All I can say is that it works well for me. I pushed the soap today to see how much water it can take and it produced a lovely slick lather for my Feather AC shave. It lathers almost as quickly as MdC. I think it would make a nice soap to take if travelling.

I've bought this so will review it. It's about the same price as some other quality soaps . I have seen a lot of little known soaps and creams recently. Id avoid the ones which cost little more than bath soaps made by the same company.
The soap is extremely hard, the hardest of any, so it should last ages, probably outlasting many cheaper , especially creams. The tin is very nice, and wide to load brushes easily.
It loads very easily . I face lather and whilst it lathers well, it didn't become the creamy lather I prefer.
Having said that, the shave was good, no drag, nicks and a nice face feel after. If the maker could tweak the recipe so that it became more creamy, it would make me buy it again.
I've a poor sense of smell, but suspect it's not for those who like strong scents, perfect for anyone sensitive to strong oils etc.
I've hard water, so would be interested to see what it's like with soft water.
