Hiya,

So who wears or wore em and why? Hard to imagine it's a popular style among foreigners (no offense) but I've been wrong before many times.

No, it doesn't count when you were 7 years old.....although pics would be ok. Boots worn as maybe not a daily item but often enough and more than your friends.

Ten years mostly inna row for me, along with one buddy. Mid 30s-40s we had some boots and no shortages of western wear stores to buy em. I still have a few pair in nice shape but sadly don't wear em. For the hell of it I'll include a Chicago store called Alcala's that's still around where shopping was a kick. Buy your jeans and have em tailored on the spot. Nice jackets too
Ok enough foreplay but my point is I still look at boots and shirts and even buckles. Hah, usta have some nice belts to change up regularly and still wear that kinda stuff. Whoosh doggies I even say "Howdy" when saying hello to people even now. Maybe try looking up a Ranger Set.....a variety of materials available.

Here's a classic boot style I noticed that has a breath taking skin {tile} option. Now it's from an alligator and no clue about any legal or moral stuff but jeeez, this boot looks spectacular to my eye. However it may not be sold at the store I mentioned.

Just thought to mention something a bit different to some here and maybe see what's hiding in the closet of others.. Watcha got?

Nice lookin' boot, Down-Under quite a few different styles, brands, but more often worn are the popular R M Williams Boots I'm about to start breaking in this pair of Thomas Cook Trentham boots when it gets a bit cooler (y)

See now that's a style I'd never think of buying. Is that more of a dress style boot? Also, I'd guess you have your own druthers when it comes to any conditioner or polish used. Yeah, part of the fun owning boots.

Great pair of boots - in UK they are known as ‘Chelsea Boots’ and I remember spending my first weeks wage, when I left school, on a pair of suede Chelsea boots (this would have been mid 1960’s)!

I can’t wear cowboy boots any more (hands no longer strong enough to get them on and off) but when I was a student (in Manchester in the late 1960”s and early 1970’s) I used to wear moccasins in the summer and cowboy boots in the winter! These are my weekend wear these days (Clarke’s Batcombe Lord boots).

Our line dance leader has a few "cowboy" boots. She picked up a couple of pairs in NASHVILLE.

R M Williams boots has been my favourite for my whole life since I was a kid, I’m still wearing them regularly and also for going out as I have three different pairs of boots.
 
Bought these from Alcala's in the early 80s. One of their in house custom offerings featuring full quill ostrich and black calfskin. I always added these 'tip taps' toe and heel and ribbed soles to keep from sliding around during winter wear.

I never owned cowboy boots but I had one pair of boots 6 or 8 years ago that had zips on each side of the boot, as well as fairly chunky heels. I hadn't considered them to be that different to normal boots but remember two different guys (who I didn't know) having very weird reactions to them
