Contacting a seller outside of Ebay

Yes I want to stiff them (Ebay) out of their commission as well as negotiate a better price. What's the safest way to do this?

It's been such a long tiime since I've attempted it, I can't remember what worked or know if it still does.
 
It's my experience that eBay have stopped scanning users messages... Been able to send phone numbers and email addresses without issue for a while now. Back when they actively blocked them I used to have a .PNG with all my details on.
 
It's up to the seller if he or she wants to negotiate outside ebay and I certainly won't be losing any sleep over ebay not profiting from the transaction.
