Welcome.
Start off with a DE handle, brush, some cheap blades and some cream/soap and continue from there. Once you have your basic ingredients the quest starts. If you get truly hooked your first year won't be a cheap one put it that way but once you settle for your favourite combinations it will be much cheaper than cartridge shaving and much more satisfying and enjoyable.
No.1 tip from me: Visit Truefitt & Hill and Geo F Trumper websites. They sell sampler packs of creams, balms and colognes. That'll get you started with scents. D.R Harris also sell travel sized creams. Sample some scents then branch out.
TSR will be waiting to guide you along should you need any advice.
