No worries. Apart from The General being a great razor. Another major factor why it's so popular is not getting stung with the extra fees this side of the pond.

Personally, I think it unwise to speak too freely of items received without extra costs (whatever the reason).The "powers that be" may be greedy, but they're not entirely stupid.

Colonial Razors was hoping to start selling the SS version in mid-September but I haven't heard anything. Anybody know if this is still supposed to happen or if dates have changed?

I contacted them via Twitter a few weeks back. They should receive stock by the 30th.

Colonial Razors Our shop estimated shipping on 9/23 to us. We won't receive until days later. QC conducted then we will determine a release date. Most likely early October. Newsletter will reveal exact date as we know for sure

It used to come in brass, but it's now sold out and discontinued. It's a fantastic razor if you can get a hold of a used one.
