Hi there,

Never tried it myself, but I've read lots of reviews over the years. Supposed to be a decent enough product that's not expensive. If I hadda guess, I'd say most people would rate it around 6-7 outta 10.

+1 & then some, and I use glycering soaps almost exclusively. Have a look at Scent from Heaven soaps instead, got an online shop. For a couple of quid they've got to be gr8 value & they really do work well. Traditional Shaving may have some Mama Bear in stock if they're not too pricey. Failing that, with any luck Prof Blighty will have some glycerine in his new range when it comes out. His products are excellent , and incredibly priced.

I'd not had much success with any glycerine soap until this summer, when I took a Col. Conk Bay Rum soap on holiday with me. I managed to get a nice lather from it and was impressed. Impressed enough to get more glycerin soaps, like Scent From Heaven and MB's.

So, they may not be the best glycerine soaps, but they will get the job done.

I would have to begrudgingly say Mama Bears, but Scent From Heaven are very, very close.

Not tried any of Blighty's, so can't comment on them.
