Cold water Vs warm water

Which has the best results cold water shaving or warm water shaving. I've always shaved with warm water but I'm going to try cold water.

I personally do not believe it makes any difference. It's whatever floats your boat. Warm water in winter, cold water in summer seems relatively sensible.

Oh, and before anyone mentions it - pores do not open and close.

Meh cold water wasn't up to much didn't make any difference in my opinion. Big drop off on the sharpness on that feather blade but Still a nice nice shave !

With cold water in the summer, I envisage ice cold water being applied post shave. It can be quite revitalising and refreshing in the heat.

It doesn't really make a difference during the shave imho, but a hot wash before building lather really goes miles to soften my Mediterranean beard

only on the coldest Uk winter days will i try a hot lather. or hot/warm water Very enjoyable to have an old school shave with a hot towel, silvertip badger and a scuttle or ceramic bowl to keep everything warm.

There are so many other variables it doesnt make a difference for me, but a warm scuttle lather on a cold day is nice and so is a cold post shave on a hot day
