Hi Brian. How long do you think until your splashes will be available? Is the assessment a long winded process?I bought a well know splash in USA at Christmas and looked at ingredients (only alcohol and witch hazel with a fragrance oil) and thought (that's) just astringent and no conditioning benefits. To be fair it was quite a nice fragrance but for $13 dollars it's not good value for users. So I though I can do better than that and played around with blends and am pleased with outcome. Blend of Perfumers Alcohol, Witch Hazel, Glycerin, Aloe Vera, Allanatonin and Vitamin E. I fragranced them with the same essential oils as the Hybrid Shaving Soaps. When I get my assessment approved I'll send out some samples to my Shaving Room friends.
Maybe 2/3 weeks I hope. I'll put a post on TSR when sorted. Cheers.Hi Brian. How long do you think until your splashes will be available? Is the assessment a long winded process?
Forgot to say, used them Baili Butterfly razor yesterday. For the price it seems quite well made, certainly not aggressive (quite a narrow blade gap). Tended to struggle to deal with 3day growth on first pass, but tidied things up on second pass and gave a decent smooth shave. All in all, it's good value for money and would be an easy razor for someone new to DE shaving.Hi Brian. How long do you think until your splashes will be available? I'm binning off my 2020 purchase sabbatical. Online shopping is my route to sanity whilst in lockdown!
Forgot to mention - the 3000S is now on its way to you.Likewise.
I've not bought much for a while, I think my last 'proper' shaving purchases were from YourShaving in October.
I'm losing whatever sanity I had (not much) with each additional lockdown and I think you're onto a winner, a bit of online shopping might restore a little sanity!

Fear not - had a list of things to do in the brave new world.Amazing, thanks for that Chris! Hope the trip to the Post Office wasn't too much trouble for you.
Had an excellent shave with the Freddo today. Shave review is here:Today's SOTD: 29/03/20

Razor: Ming Shi 2000S
Blade: Gillette Winner (2)
Brush: Yaqi Chianti
Soap: Extro Freddo
Pre: Proraso Green
ASL: Floïd Suave
ASB: Floïd
Freddo means cold in Italian. It's also the name of a cheap frog shaped chocolate in the UK which is often used by prestigious universities as the benchmark product for understanding the impact of inflation. You've learnt two things reading this SOTD - Italian and Macroeconomics.
The Freddo croap is scentless meaning there's a bit of a cooking oil smell when on your face. That said, it has a very nice cooling effect that takes a while to arrive but is most noticeable when it does. Usual great slickness from an Extro product. I'm liking the Chianti brush as well.
The Ming Shi pairs well with the Gillette Winner and I'm enjoying this combination. It's a very good cheap razor - even of it is a rip-off of a Futur.
The Yaqi Slant is up next Drew. I know the bronze Yintal 3 piece you're on about and it's a good razor. I think mine is now owned by Iain following the purchase of one of my shaving bundles.Bought a bronze Yintal 3 piece which I used for the first time today. It's a weighty beast and gave me a very good shave. It really surprised me. Believe it uses the Maggard V3a head. Got the Yaqi slant also and it's an aggressive beast but gives a damn fine shave.
