Question:

I have a tub of Cella Soap, what would be the best way to build up a lather, and any other advice?

I load a damp-wet ish brush and load the brush. Then i just take it straight to the face and lather from there.

It's not fussy on how you lather it but gives an amazing lather. One of the best IMO.

Yes, Cella is very nice. A difficult pick between that and Valobra IMHO, they are both excellent.

I'm the same, soaked brush, shake, load in the tub and onto face for lathering.
But before all that you have to have a nice long sniff.
