This is only being sold as household soap to get around the wussy EU rule about not having proper carbolic acid in hand / body soap. I'm using mine instead of liquid antibacterial hand soap which is expensive and uses wasteful packaging.
I've been washing my hands with the Redbouy Carbolic and it's great so I see no reason why you shouldn't be taking it into the shower with you.Yes I know as Richard explained above. So, how are the Redbuoy and the CSC version in the shower?
The Redbouy lathers very well but no I have not tried to use it as a shaving soap but now you have bought it up who knows.......watch this space! So in the interest of science and the mainstay of the forums, the inevitable question is: how does it lather? Did you try shaving with it?

My four-year-old announced last night, complete with the wrinkled nose of disdain, "That pink soap in the bathroom smells."
