Car Care Products

No wonder we are running out of grit, it must ALL be on my car  the natural colour of it is light blue but it looks more like a gunsmoke colour with all the crap it's collected and I can't get to clean the damn thing cos I can guarantee that as soon as I wash it it will freeze again and the drive will resemble Altrincham Ice Rink. But the main topic I am asking is....................... What brand of car care products do you use and why? Do you change brands when you finish one lot or are you loyal to the brand you favour most? For me, Autoglym has to be the best on the market but there is another brand I wouldn't mind giving a whirl one day.

I use meguiars

Autoglym for me.
I waxed the frame when i got it and its great. The dirt just goes straight off it.
Waxed it once, left for 24 hours then waxed again.
Should have done it again before winter. It needs another wash now because everything facing forwards/back has got horrible grey road dirt on it, which is going to take alot of water to get off.

Are you using a polishing machine or doing a Karate Kid routine?

Presta or Farecla are what the trade use for good reason.

Done by hand.
Machine would be crap on the bike, wouldn't get into all the tight courners.

I use Meguiars and like to give a full treatment including the clay every so often.
A link has already been posted.
It can be a laborious process but I only do it on the small car so it doesn't take too long.
Its not the cheapest brand but if you shop around you may find a deal.
Excellent product and the little car looks fantastic afterwards!
