It's a flare tip TTO and ‘made in England'. The handle knurling does not have the often seen hoops up the shaft, instead they are unhindered columns. I think it's rhodium plated as compared to another English flare I have it still looks brand new! Any help would be appreciated
TV Special flare tip Rocket only sold in 1958 as far as I know. It's a rarer variant of the regular flare tip Rocket, shave is the same but rhodium plated handle and unique knurling pattern make it more desirable.
I sold one last year in mint condition with case for £30, to give an idea of potential value.

Hi Rohleder, (that's) awesome thank you!I'm delighted it's a TV special. I appreciate the valuation, although I'm delighted to keep it in the collection.
