Brush of the day.

Doh! I've just knocked my Phantom Aerolite out of the bathroom window! Now need to get a ladder to access the gutter above the kitchen window! Luckily it's not raining.

Nope, just got the ladder out, nothing in the gutter, it was in the bushes beneath. Minor ding that'll polish out hopefully.
I'll be glad when this week's over!

The above is an SotD photo from 2013 and the big devil is still going strong. The wood is a shade darker and it could with a light re-oiling but the split tips are great and it’s a complete soap eater. The knot is the large Omega boat at around 27mm. I face lather exclusively too. Hand-carved with a wee sharp knife and some quiet winter evenings (summer is for the gairden).

I’ve got a nice bit of oak rescued from a bonfire heap so must make another handle soon. Well, I’ll likely axe out a blank ready for winter whittling. Maybe…
