Piglet and Big boar ......fantastic!I'm currently doing the same procedure for two boar brushes - a Semogue 620 (quite small - I call it piglet) and an Omega 49 (the big boar). Quite interesting so far - looking at the (combined) charts so far, the results won't be what I expected.
Temperature and humidity are the same as the last experiment - 25 degrees and normal

Define "win"? And compared to the badger and synth? The denser (not the bigger) knot should win IMO.

24 hours, disappointed, with only 1,26g water left after initial 12 hours last night I was sure boar would be bone dry and ready for a new shave this morning but no, still got 0,72g left, meaning only about half a gram difference in the last 12 hours :-( (need to test this brush again)
Donations welcomeAnybody got a Hoss brush to experiment with? Just for the sake of completeness.
Just slightly damp and warm, mould and bacteria will get a foot hold, to be safe your brush needs to be DRY.36 hours Zenit boar: still not dry, still 0,32g to go
24 hours Vigshaving badger: still not dry, still 0,29g to go
0,3g or 0,3ml is not a lot would be interesting to know how much water is considered enough by mould and bacteria to thrive.
