Boots DE blades?

Yep...unmarked Israeli Persona's, I quite like them, a couple of quid for 10 in Tesco's last time I bought some.

If they are blank IPs then I like them too. I thought they might be because they are so common, but these ones don't seem to have that generic blade picture on the packaging like they usually have.
 
G-train, the last time I looked at Boots they were selling the same blades as Tesco and Asda as in the picture below. Have they changed?

I've never seen any Boots blades in person, and the ones you show are definitely those blank Personnas. I just didn't recognize them in this picture, because the blade box is just white without that cardboard insert with a picture of a razor. Probably are still the same. Just was wondering incase they were indeed a different blade.

Picked up a pack of Boots blades last week whilst away in Cornwall, in the same packaging as above, and on the reverse of the card is info about Wilkinson Sword, meaning that's who made them I assume.

The info about Wilkinson Sword is to let you know that the blades will also fit the Wilkinson Sword Classic razor which is another DE razor that Boots sell.

I have heard that many years ago Boots sold repackaged UK Wilkinson blades but I have never seen them or tried them.

Years ago Boots blades were one of my favourites. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were UK Wilks in drag circa 1990. The Asda blades are perfectly acceptable, and I've just assumed that the Boots ones you see nowadays are the same product.
 
Who would believe the Boots DE blades cannot be used with other models of DE razors? Boots are shooting themselves in the, er, foot (Boots, foot, get it?). But, if the pack said 'fits all DE razors' that would help sales.
 
I can testify that they fit just fine in a gillette slim-twist and a Jagger, anyway (unsurprisingly). The only blade I've tried so far, since they came with my first razor, though I have a stack of other makes to experiment with :).
 
The ones I tried are standard DE blades. Fits all.

And they are good. And cheap (if you buy retail)/expensive (if you buy off the internet. Delete where appropriate.
