Got my bodger today tested it with some palmolive soap and the lather was pretty decent, I've notice though the bristles don't seem even, on one side their noticeably shorter is this normal for this level of brush? My EJ BBB is completely level and symetrical

No prob.
I notice in another post you say this brush is a bit stiff.
May I suggest that for the first week or so you soak it for five or ten minutes before lathering up - it might help.
Love these brushes - I think they are shaving's best kept secret.

I quite liked it having a little more backbone than the EJ BBB.

The best way i can describe the problem is it looks as if the hair is trimmed to make it look bulb shaped at the top but in this case they forgot to do half.

The only problem as such, i have ever encountered with my 404, is the fact that the handle is a bit big for bowl lathering using an Old Spice Mug. Hence i am titivating over pulling the trigger over buying a Woodhead Pottery Bowl, or whether to save my pennies a bit more and buy a SWK Scuttle. Decisions decisions
