Bluffers Guide to British Triple Milled

If you didn't see it in the Death of Cyril R Salter thread, we have some really excellent news ...

Cyril R Salter has moved it shaving soap to a new formulation. It's tallowate-first and follows the same ingredient order as the very excellent DR Harris that reformulated in 2024 and also shared with Captain Fawcett.

INCI reads as:

Sodium Tallowate, Potassium Stearate, Sodium Stearate, Aqua, Potassium Laurate, Sodium Laurate, Glycerin, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Parfum, Palm Kernel Acid, Linalool, Potassium Palm Kernelate, Petrolatum, Linalyl Acetate, Lavandula Oil/Extract, Sodium Chloride, Coumarin, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Tetrasodium Iminodisuccinate, Camphor, Hexamethylindanopyran, Terpineol, O-Tolyl Biguanide, Geraniol, Pinene, Limonene, Citronellol, Pogostemon Cablin Oil, Beta-Caryophyllene, Citrus Arantium Bergamia Peel Oil, Geranyl Acetate, Tetrasodium EDTA, CI 77891[/url]

Hey! You've a nice bowl! Buy a (current) refill from CF direct.

I tried cutting GFT Eucris with ever-increasing amounts of known-good Vitos but it just didn't work ... even the brush kinda killed lather on good soaps for a few more uses. Give it a damn good wash under hot water. Use the soap as bath soap.

I absolutely agree, in fact have said myself that I think Luxurious is a very clever take on Old Spice which itself is actually far greener and far more herbal than many noses and memories would say.
I managed to get the tallow version of CF luxury to replace the snide one I bought in error. You were right, the crap formula soaps make great bath soaps. I almost threw it away.
