Best place to buy a 34C

Hi,

After reading pages and pages of razor reviews i've decided to go with the crowd and purchase the Merkur 34C.

I've also read about various members here owning internet shops so i've thought i might as well help one of them rather than just a randomn site.

i looked at badger and hone but they only sell the 38C and after some more research its not recommended for newbies like myself.

i'll go look at connaught now though thanks

Nothing wrong with starting off with a 38C, I did. Ideal for getting in to the mindset of no pressure other than the weight of the razor on your face. Whether you buy the 34 or 38C, just make sure you bin that Merkur blade that will come with it and get yourself a blade sampler from Paul (at Connaught).

Badger and Hone have just made a new website, the 34C might not be on there yet.
You should send Martin an E-mail, or PM to see if they have it, and maybe benefit fro the 15% discount they're offering... (see vendors offers)

Also, I think there was one going on BST, not sure if it went or not.

I got mine as a present from the Traditional Shaving Co.

They do sets where you can get your 34C plus a nice soap plus a brush in one package. And you can mix and match to get the brush you want.

Hi, i did read something about a superseed but the overwhelming feeling i got from most posts was that for a newbie the 34C was the best option.

Also my head was getting a bit muddled with all the jargon so thats why i decided to bite the bullet and get it over with.

But thank you all for your help i'm happy to say i ordered one from Connaught last night.
