Best blades for an EJ DE87

Hi folks...

well, recently got myself a DE87, ivory handle, modern muhle head, and its a great looking and feeling razor. However I feel that with it's extra weight, and the profile of the head, i'm no longer enjoying my feathers quite as much as i did with my 1904. Occasionally they come over as a little rough.

So looking for suggestions for blades that work well in the DE87. Iridiums perhaps? or some gillettes? if so which ones.

If anyone has some they'd like to swap for some feathers or derbys. I'd be happy to do a trade.

I didn't really like Super Thins until Audiolab recommend I try them in my Jagger.

If you want some superthins, I'd swap some for feathers, don't think I have any...

I had some superthins, but they ran out before i tried them in the DE87

i hear reference to one called swedes? what do they actually look like, and are they still readilly available?

looking for something almost as sharp as a feather, but smoother with it.

Thin's, Bleue's, Yellow 7's, all work well with my EJ.

Connaught sells them as well as the regular ebayer's if you can find the thread.

Superthins work well in the EJ. I also like the red IPs, but for me I find they work well in most razors.

Iridiums, Red IP's and the one Im using in my EJ87 at the moment , Shark, are all excellent for me

Superthins work well for me , also Iridium supers. I use the EJ as my test razor for an unknown blade , if it does'nt work in the ej for me then its out.
