Ah shame man, i remember that song from childhood. At least he had a good innings. RIP.
I only know him from Carry On Jack and Carry On Spying. They described him on the news today as a "Carry On star", but those were the only two Carry On films that he made, if my memory is correct. I am too young to remember his other work, though, and I hadn't seen him in anything that he'd made recently.
93 is a very good age, though. He'd certainly had a very long life. RIP Bernard.
