I just got a newsletter from Heinnie Haynes, which included a link to some Böker shaving products. Besides the straights there are some nice looking brushes, so if anyone fancies a bit of virtual window shopping:

Thanks for the link Andy! I don´t know about modern ones, but the vintage one I got, is fantastic! I love the little tree trade mark.

Are modern boker straights any good?
They seem to have plenty of fans, mainly in America where they're more frequently seen. I haven't seen one of the modern razors, but judging by a little penknife which I just couldn't resist recently ( ), their raw material and heat treatment is certainly up to scratch; fit and finish is less good.

Vintage str8 razors will 99% of the time have a slight lean to the left..due to them being handmade...its the modern razors that are 100% straight..no biggie

The straight razors will be made by Böker, unless I'm gravely mistaken - they are one of the largest knife making companies around after all, with plenty of razor making history. Conversely, Mühle's cut throats are rumoured to be Dovos in drag.
