There is a clear ethical dilemma here... (here we go )

Are the animals killed simply to provide the raw materials for a (eg) shaving brush handle? I guess the same question can be levied at the badger hair, which will probably end up in most of them...

Is it indeed more ethical to have badger hair in a synthetic or sustainable wood handle?

Ok, ok ... it is Sunday night and I'm tired! Yaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwn!!

(In any event I don't like the colour of the horn handles :? )

It says on the site that they do not use horn from animals that were killed specifically...not sure how you could tell.

I would have thought the beast's themselves would be just too valuable to slaughter just for the horn, lets hope they at least have one hell of a BBQ.

Quite, however the site title also mentions goods manufactured from Ivory et cetera...

I'm not squeamish nor what you would consider as a remotely politically correct, Guardianista but that corporate claim makes me more than a little wary...

Its not for me I'm afraid.

More importantly, as I said, I simply don't like the colour but the BBQ sounds good.

;)

MMMMmmmm big-game BBQ... :hungrig

There are some handsome handles on that site, I agree it is a difficult call to know for sure the true source but indeed the BBQ sounds nice, with the dreary weather I long for a nice warm day with a BBQ and a few cold beers.
