Astra SP - Any Love?

Astra SP are great for Muhle R41 daily shaves.
I don’t get on with them either.

The Astra SP is a great blade but just under the performance of GSB. I find it hard to tell the difference between the SP and SS.

I tired them today in the outlaw mild - not so nice a feeling on the skin, very efficient but maybe as the Outlaw is a little more aggressive than the R106, it could be my technique ( or lack of it) at fault. Gone back to the R106 for tomorrows shave. Having said all that the shave was really good.

my go to...not my all time fav, but I found that to change according with the razor I use. However, I've found Astra SP (and Feather) to perform quite uniformly in all my razors. Other blades may be my all time fav in one of my razors and the worst of them all if loaded in other razors.

I Think I will too, always have some of those. They work really great in the Muhle R106. The third shave not quite so good but first two were super

I've tried them a few times as think i should like them , but always find them a bit rough.

As others have said...SP is OK (ish) but feels a tad rough.
The SS is my favourite of the SP/SS.
But even then, I rarely use the SS as I really prefer other blades anyway.
SS is OK, no problems so will probably always have some on hand.

Astra SP is my regular blade. Have been using them regularly for last 5 years or so.
Sharper and more consistent than Derby's, more forgiving than other blades I have tried.
Cheap as chips too I just love them.
