Does anyone know how these compare to the Astra Platinum's?

I've been using using the platinum's for the past week and to date it's the best blade I've tried, the superior stainless were ok but no where near as smooth as the platinum's for me.

I hadn't used an Astra for a few weeks, when I got some Keramiks from Paul at Connaught. They were both smoother and sharper than I remember. I'm hoping to get some more in the next couple of months.

I think Paul is the only vendor with any stock left. ( though a touch expensive. )

While going through my sampler I liked the Keramik's more than the SP's, they were the same price at the time so just bought a few, am now glad I did.

I can send a few on if you want to try them.

Thanks for the offer, but if they're discounted and very limited stock I'll not bother. As hunnymonster mentioned - I'd be disappointed if I really liked the blade but couldn't get hold of any.

The Plats work well enough for me, best blade used so far, though I've hd some really nice shave with the 7 O'clock Super Platinums, looking forward to trying the yellow Sharpedge next. (They'll have be a vast perfromance difference to make me want to choose them over the price of the astra's)
