If you get on with Astra SP's and there is no reason why you shouldn't because they are great blades why waste your time testing others? You can spend a lot of time and money only to find you had the right blade in the first place, mind you we have all done it at one time or another.I'm new and I like the Astra Sp's. Being new I'm on a mission of blade testing and I tend to use the Astra's as a bench mark.

Ive just bought 500 SP's because I think they are that good.
I should have done, it may have saved me a lot of time and money! LolDid you marry the first girl you kissed?

Yes. Point taken.Remember back to when many of us were neophytes at this and then discovered how wonderful it was. Then we became like drunken soldiers on leave in a bordello.
I suppose it's the kid in the sweet shop thing, at the moment I use an EJ 89, 72 Gillette tech and a 56 ball end tech so am trying different blades to see what l like in each. So far the SP's and Wilkinson black box seem the most consistent and reasonable life for my beard and skin.If you get on with Astra SP's and there is no reason why you shouldn't because they are great blades why waste your time testing others? Yes, we were all like kids in a sweet shop when we started, you carry on mate, it's all part of the fun. Nope. They are where they belong. At least I didn't have to dull them in case the bin man cuts himself....I think he's safe enough. It may do, but do retrieve the rest of the blades from the bin! Try them again in a few months, perhaps in a different razor...
I know I am not alone in loving them. Do I hear a PIF coming on...?! Lol
So you don't like them then?Well. As I got some given I thought I'd give one a load up in the Barbaros. What a wonderful idea. Wonderful that is if you love a neck full of weepers and an aftershave feel like a Dragons gob. I chucked the rest where they belong..The bin. I wouldn't give a tramp one to use. The next time I see an Astra close up I want it to be with a doped up chav behind the wheel just before he plough's me over to my death. Astra's shove 'em right up your A@*e.
Oh by the way does that qualify me for review of the week?
I was getting that vibe too!So you don't like them then?
