To join in the spirit of this new section of TSR, here is my review on Asda's single blade disposable razor.
I was bought a pack of 10 of these by a friend who was taking the mick out of my interest in shaving. At the time they came in at 37p for 10 razors - cheaper than nearly any DE blade you can buy.
They are incredibly lightweight which has 2 effects. Firstly, you have to apply plenty of pressure otherwise the blade would not stay on your skin. Secondly, you can feel every hair getting cut through feedback through the handle. I quite liked this aspect as it's a sense you rarely get with other razors.
I did a 3-pass shave and got a result only marginally worse than I would get with any of my DE razors. I did have to go over areas a few extra times but finished with no irritation at all.
I'm not putting these into a regular rotation but it was an interesting experiment and I learned a little bit more about shaving. I'd happily put them in an overnight bag if I was flying.
