Any wood bowl with a rounded bottom should work. Or use a cheese grater and press the bits into any container you want.

Something simple that a wood turner could knock up similar to this

but without the handle.
Not sure if you're into wood but some nice bits of wood turned green. left in a paper poke outside for a while, then inside in a cold room. Oak is nice and I don't think it objects too much to being wet then dry.
