Any 'Eau Sauvage' smell-alikes?

I think they have reformulated it twice since the original, the latest is supposed to be the closest, seems to be more vintage stock on etsy, I'm just a bit wary of splurging 80+ if the scent has faded, I suppose it should be OK if its, in original packaging, not exposed to sunlight.

Absolutely my all time favourite aftershave; the originals / classics are always the best. I used to stock up on the brown box with the red label in overseas' duty free's at £20 per go; not sure how much this classic sells for now.

You can still find them on eBay as many of them were produced back in the days. If you are quick and careful you can still get them for about the same as the retail price of a current bottle.

Just be advised that as it is a citrus-based scent, if you find a very old bottle, some of the top notes may not smell 100% as they used to. If you are lucky and get a sealed bottle, you should be fine though.
