Hello all

Just won this off the bay...

I'm not a ball end techspert but that's what its. Looks nice and clean with a good case, a tenner is fine.

If you have a 34C I really wouldn't bother with a Weishi, wait till a Vintage TTO turns up.

Indeed that's exactly what it is... A ball end Tech.

It's complete and boxed (you have no idea how many get sold without the bottom plate...).

It might be a "proper" ball end (where the handle is made of a nickled brass tube with a ball end insert or a "faux" ball end where it's just cast out of aluminium... it'll be obvious when you pick up the handle (proper = heavy, faux = light)

Agree with Tony (antdad)

Price is fair on the boxed thech, always nice having a box for travelling :p
On the weishi, I agree, add a few quid and you have a nice vintage superspeed.
(the build quality is incomparable, I doubt a Weishi will last 50+ years)

Finally arrived.
Really happy with it. It has been in the steriliser so far. And a quick wipe.

Will give it a good clean but here are a few photos...

Sadly not - it was made in England when Gillette didn't date mark their razors here... however from the box and handle design (looks to be a cast aluminium handle rather than plugged nickel plated brass tube), it's probably 50s/early 60s.
