Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs!! 
If they are Plissoft I'll take your word for it. The only difference I can feel between the two types of knots, are that the Tuxedo set to the same loft as the tan knots does feel a little denser/backbone. But there ain't much in it as I can tell. As said previously I don't class my self as an expert just someone who knows what he likes, and I like both these knots. Until som'at better comes around, of course.
