Alpha Spirit SE- s/s version.

There appears to be no review on The Alpha Spirit, which I have just purchased.
I have purchased the basic S/S version, there is a bronze and titanium handle.I hesitated to buy one as I thought the handle too slim. However feels nicely balanced in the hand during a Shave, and I was able to use its modest weight while exerting little pressure to do most of the work. The slim head is excellent at working around the upper lip, and was very quickly able to get a rather face stroking finish.
Initial impressions are very good, and suspect it will be the best one in my stable. Not tempted by The Vector or the Atelier Durdan offerings - which sound great but rather pricey.
Now need to have more Shaves with different blades to truly evaluate it,

It's a good-looker!

I like the use of the round threaded post behind the blade (like the Hawk) which I think gives better balance and action than passing a tab through the blade.

Just had my Fourth Shave with The Spirit. All my thoughts about the slim handle have been dispelled, balances so well in the hand during the Shave,and its length 95mm just right for working around the neck with ease.Loving the fact that I can get the upper lip nice and clean every time.
A very functional Razor, a smooth Shaver but deceptively efficient - weighing in at 66gm.
