Perfect! So many use washers or coins to fill the void, but I use plastic caps or flat plastic that I cut into discs. When working with vintage handles I don't want to change the weight or balance, I want to enjoy the original feel as much as possible. You are doing a fine job on that brush. Avoid overly hot water, those old ferrules don't like it.
