but they are also charging £22.00 for an old spice mug with is f*****g outrageous !!

it is a lovely looking thing, the razor head was grimy when i got it, a few mins in the ultrasonic and it was mirror shiny and i mean mirror shiny, the head is Rhodium, looks awesome.

I have bought 2 in the last week (1 white with lid, 1cream) for less than a fiver at charity stall and car boot.
 
A French three piece razor from ebay. I can't find any info on the maker Servus. It's quite a heavy razor (77g), mainly the handle which is solid brass I think. The head looks chrome plated. I'll report back after I've shaved with it tonight.









First shave done. Not bad. Quite easy to find the correct angle. It's quite an aggressive razor though, I'll need to shave with it a few more times before making up my mind.
 
Finally got round to cleaning the Gillette /tech Ball...





Looks as new.

Also obtained this silver blade case... for $4.00...



 
Well that's me done for a while, gone and won me a gillette bostonian.

Nice score Huxley, they are lovely razors. I do find mine quite aggressive so I would recommend you proceed with caution till you find the right blade and technique. No cracks on mine either, certainly from the picture it looks very nice.
 
After a busy and emotionally charged weekend of football I received a little thank you gift from my son's football team, who I run the line for.

Friday night my son's team lost the Surrey County Cup final 2-1 They were pick pocketed

Saturday was their Presentation Day which is where my son presented me with the gift. A bag containing a bottle of Molton Brown Naran Ji hand wash and a huge bar of Molton Brown Aloe & Karité Soap was tearfully handed over to me.

Then on Sunday morning they played a game which they really needed to win to stand a realistic chance of winning the league. Drew 1-1 They now have to beat their closest rivals in the last two games of the season home and away to secure their third title in four seasons. COME ON THE EAGLES

PS. To top off a miserable football weekend, eleven useless, lazy b******s turned up at Old Trafford and gave Man Utd their 19th title. Would have loved to have been in a Scouse pub to see the looks on their faces. Congratulations United. COME ON THE BARCA!!! :lol:
