You better get one, otherwise, you’ll be dreaming too much about it without your pants on.It's definitely on the list.
It is. And the right quarter too.Is that your birth year slim razor?

Where's your bloody pissy stick?View attachment 148182
Some things from Labarbiera - mainly so I could get the Goodfellas Smile Abysso beard set. Thought the Furiah scent sounded appealing & a zero alcohol aftershave, and I like the lemon Marmarma Quash spray I have except the scent goes almost straight away. The Arko balms you can add 3 for free as they're rather old & creams £1 so thought may as well
Now, I'll stop buying things.... Maybe

Arko will have the last laugh when this stick is the very last tallowate shaving soap available.

Today's mail call was a 1958 Gillette Rhodium plated Rocket, also referred to as the TV Rocket.
Next to it's US counterpart, the 58 TV Special super speed, for comparison.

TThe TV was a promotional razor for a US TV show. Notice one the clear part of the case it has the letters TV. Your British counterpart has the G(illette) logo. It's "just" a rhodium Rocket in the same coloured case as the US TV special but clearly NOT just dropped into a spare TV case.
Very nice!
I have one in a grey coloured case ...

Mr Razor shows a German Parat (regular Rocket with the slim knurled handle) in a red case like this ... and now shows one like mine. There's no reason to think that there wasn't a rhodium Rocket in a red case.

I knew about the TV special super speeds Cavalcade of sports promotional lineage and that the Rhodium Rocket didn't have such a link to an ad campaign but I'm still very new to the Rocket side of things so it's great to get some insight on that as it can be confusing with all the models and variations they put out on this side of the pond.
