The vintage is way better than the current offering. You have to be comfortable in your own skin wearing it. It certainly commands the room

I am comfortable in my own skin, I think the comments I've read and a bit of research online has convinced me it's a no. I know from experience that a lot of the older fragrances are generally better before they get reformulated. Do you find that?

Almost always Mark as certain substances like oak moss and other ingredients that give a scent its longevity get banned. Old Spice and Brut are prime examples.
