A Review of the Supply SE for People New to Safety Razors

They are KAI blades IMO and not Feather as many believe. I used one today in a Schick G 1 injector on a four day beard. You can tell on the initial first strokes that it is different than a 'Chick'. I got a great shave, but as many know the KAI blades, whether these injector ones or DE ones, require great detail to prep and technique. YMMV.

I am just learning about razors. The thought of differentiating blades is more than my small brain can cope with.

It's not drastic by any means. The two big differences in injector blades are the Edgewell/Personna and the Chinese Schick, or 'Chick' as we call it. There is a third, the Schick Proline (B), however it is made in the USA and not Japan as many think. I used to think it was slightly better than the 'Chick', now I am not so sure. They may be the exact same blade except for the rounded corners on the former that causes it to sit a tad different in an injector razor.........in theory.

Just try one of each in your razor and decide for yourself. Just remember the most important rule I see so many violate when doing testing: only change one variable at a time.
