Nice Thomas.W.Ward & Co 6/8 swayback near wedge polished up and re-scaled in Rosewood with a Ebony wedge.

A few coats of beeswax, buffed and onto the hones.
I must sort out my photography, this picture doesn't show much of the wonderful grain in this wood...shame.

I think I will give my fingers a rest after all my recent hand polishing, it really does take a toll!
 
That's a lovely specimen. I'm being drawn towards the wedge type blade having now got used to my first one. I might start collecting wedges.

My own wedge is fourth from the top a 7/8 by an unknown maker.
