A new rabbit hole … any pointers …

As my DE quest is nearly complete I though I would complicate matters by buying a Hawk v2 in ‘Celtics’ green and Schick Proline P-30 blades as suggested.

This new adventure will start with the new NBA season once my DE adventures conclude (in time for another Astros triumph in World Series)

Any pointers as to difference in technique Or other helpful suggestions?

Hi, I got recently the V3 (aggressive) and started with Kai Captain mild.
It's very easy to use, different feeling to the more rigid blade, and very pleasurable.
Does not go very deep though, this set up can be used for daily shaves.
No difference in technique to use.
I would like to move to more "aggressive" blades to go a bit closer in shave.

First try tonight, can’t wait for the NBA to start… Really quite enjoyable, a little different but seemed nearly as close but much smoother than my 3one6 and Permasharp usual DE set up

It'll no doubt cost you deep in the purse but I must say I like ACSE, I've got the Hawk V3A which I enjoy with the Kai Captain Titan Mild Pink or Feather Pro. Not tried the guarded ones. A shallow angle (as in handle away from the skin) seems to work best. Not sure they're cheaper per shave but the blades will probably last 8-10 shaves, but the thing you notice is the rigidity of the blade, very reassuring.
