Yes, but just like John Wayne's favorite movie carbine it was historically incorrect in that it was an 1892 Model, i.e., made at least 20 yrs. after the period depicted in most Westerns. Then again Wayne used '92 Winchesters & '73 Colt Peacemakers for Civil War era movies, i.e., years before they were even made!!
