Thanks - he's a traditionalist, but it might be an option if he likes the flavour.A little after the fact but I believe Redbush tea is naturally free of caffeine, rather than 'synthetically' decaffeinated. It also tastes pretty darned good.
Great tea! Clipper also don't bleach their teabags which is quite reassuring!
For me, today, I'm trying out 3 new teas. Currently have some 'Twinings Lemon Drizzle' which I don't care for.
I've some Pukka Three Ginger and Pukka Three Cinnamon waiting in the wings! Being au fait with Pukka Vanilla Chai and Pukka Three Mint I'm looking forward to these two!
I'd say there's no harm trying them. They're all good teas so you might find one has a nuance you take more to. I could personally interchange between Twinings' Everyday, Twinings Breakfast and Clipper Everyday tea without issue. They're all very nice in their own right and not very dissimilar. I don't think you'd be disgusted by them and hence waste money on trying them.Hi mates!
I have recently found a shop here in Madrid which stocks Clipper tea for a reasonably price (more expensive than other regular brands like Twinings thought but almost the same price that Yorkshire Gold...). So do you think that it will worth the extra cost? If so, which one will be better as strong tea for breakfast, Everyday or Breakfast blend? Anyone else?
Thanks and regards
Psychoactive tea, I like the sound of that! Where do you recommend buying this tea and does it cost the earth? It must have been a good few months since I last drank a Lui Bao. I'd forgotten about the psychoactive effects of this tea ... Wow! Slept sound and straight through, but what weird dreams!

Careful with Liu Bao - some can indeed cost the earth!

I know some folks talk about how Puerh tea makes them feel high. Liu Bao is a similar process. I wouldn't say high, certainly not as in "tea drunk", more just really relaxed, then dropped into a deep, deep sleep. Weird, wacky dreams!

I use lavender oil on my pillow and I drink alcohol rarely so that's not the problem, it's pain in my shoulders that wakes me several times a night and I'm on one of the most effective pain killers known to man but still get woken by pain so I feel a little drugged up in the morning anyway, partly through the meds and party through lack of proper sleep, I will try the tea and see if it helps, vivid dreams will be a bounusOh, I see ... lavender drops under pillow. Take a break from alcohol.
If this tea affects you as it does me, you might feel a little drugged in the morning, but sleep is deep!

What drugs are you on? I am on Tramadol but still can't sleep due to back pain.I use lavender oil on my pillow and I drink alcohol rarely so that's not the problem, it's pain in my shoulders that wakes me several times a night and I'm on one of the most effective pain killers known to man but still get woken by pain so I feel a little drugged up in the morning anyway, partly through the meds and party through lack of proper sleep, I will try the tea and see if it helps, vivid dreams will be a bounusThank you. Morphine and codeine for the pain and Zopiclone to help with the sleep but often I find even the morphine and codine are not enough to " kill" the pain so it disturbs my sleep most nights now. What drugs are you on? I am on Tramadol but still can't sleep due to back pain.
