Really enjoying a consignment from Gently Stirred ...
I got some 'Pink Peony' (Chinese White Peony with rose buds), some Malawian Thyolo Estate 'White Peony' and some 'Red Peony' from the same estate. All lovely!
The Chinese 'Pink Peony' just has that edge that only really good Chinese can do, it's that certain extra tingle and bite that is just lacking from the African 'White Peony'. That said, the African really is nice - very close indeed and a really refreshing drinker. The 'Red Peony' is a slightly darker fired tea which is somewhere between a 'White Peony' and a 'Shou Mei' (same tea as 'White Peony', just lesser grade leaves).
I've also just finished a Malawian Thyolo 'Dark Fired' tea, which is verging on a red tea. Really good! Lovely big leaf teas, all of them.
What do you guys recommend from Hebden Tea? The most adventurous is get is Earl Grey.
I will pop along, thanks.https://www.hebdentea.com/shop/malawi-peony-white-tea/ - Malawi does some lovely tea. This one is more akin to Shou Mei (which is plebs Pai Mu Dan). Big leaves, lovely, refreshing brew! If you like this, you might be a white tea kind of fellow. Try Pai Mu Dan after ... Morning or Evening.
https://www.hebdentea.com/shop/jasmine-dragon-pearls/ - Nice introduction to green tea with a lovely flower scent to accompany. You'll want to brew in a heatproof glass to watch the dragon unfurl ... Mid-Morning?
https://www.hebdentea.com/shop/pu-erh/ - Because you have to at least try a puerh ... Late evening?
https://www.hebdentea.com/shop/assam-earl-grey-organic-2/ - Assam makes for a strong brew so this should have some kick! Enjoy with a slice of lemon ... no milk! Afternoon tea.
https://www.hebdentea.com/shop/hebden-rose/ - Rose teas are lovely after dinner. Again, no milk!
That's a handful of teas that will get you to try something a little different. No milk with any of them! There's white, green and black ... all different times of day to enjoy, too.
Have fun!

Try either one of these gems when you have worked up a thirst in the heat. In the USA these types of tea sell faster than baseball bats in a riot and with good reason: they are absolutely delicious served ice cold.
