Thank you Paul!
I doesn't do any harm to stray from the path from time to time but I will post an imageBarry -
' A fish supper must have only salt and vinegar. I may allow good homemade tartare sauce. Am I wrong again? - no spot on for me mate. In Edinburgh - they have salt and sauce. That's just wrong. Much like your porridge. Ha ha.
'Could be a Celtic thing,' - probably.
We are well off track gentlemen - anybody fancy posting an image to get back on thread? yours - I.

This was taken with my phone on holiday, it calms me & I can hear the waves & the "bubbles" when it foamed at the end.

This is quite personal - photographer unknown. I learned tonight that my next door neighbour - Mrs Ahmed died on Tuesday. As is the norm with Islamic burials - and indeed Jewish - the burial is quick. It should happen before sun up on the next day to death. I didn't get a chance to show my respects. I will never forget her - at Eid - she would come to the door with a tray of the finest food you have ever eaten. I'm heart broken for Mr Ahmed - he's lost his partner of 52 years. She and he were Sufi Muslims. The antidote to the idiocy of an idea of a Caliphate. She was buried in a winding sheet - in the south of Glasgow - facing towards Mecca. Amusingly - the Jewish cemetery is just next door. Facing the same way. Hopefully taken to Allah. Forgive me this is personal post. I'm quite upset. I.

+1 I echo Wayne's comments. P.I am so sorry to hear this sad news but your words have been so eloquently written that I am sure Mrs Ahmed would be so proud of you.
My thoughts are with you and the Ahmed family.
Take care and god bless,
Wayne.
